Welcome!
Who's adrienne? Well, it's simple. I'm adrienne (that's my middle name), I started this blogging journey as a 49-year-old, but now officially a 50-something, and I wear plus-size clothing, so that is my starting point.
I mostly write about plus-size fashion and body positivity, but I enjoy sharing my musings on my various passions and interests as well. Depending on the day, I also write about makeup and skincare, food and wine, my thoughts on aging and sharing my adventures throughout my beloved Hudson Valley in New York.
I believe strongly that age is simply a number and that we as women should not allow societal norms to dictate how we should act and how we are expected to dress at any given age. We've earned the right to be ourselves and express our uniqueness, however we see fit, regardless of our size or age.
I'm a single mom of two teen boys so that's where much of my energy is concentrated at the moment. I can be irreverent and cheeky - I don't take myself too seriously. I love anything pink, purple or furry and if I could be any mythical creature it would be a mermaid.
